What is Your Path to Tech?

Your Path to Tech is an exciting and inspiring day for incoming new freshmen and transfer students at George Mason University. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women and nonbinary students starting at Mason in the upcoming term. You’ll hear from keynote speaker Dr. Missy Cummings, learn about Mason’s tech curricula, and engage with two panels of experienced women in the tech industry, including professionals and alumnae. In addition, you’ll participate in a hands-on workshop related to your field of interest, whether it’s computer science/applied computer science or information sciences and technology. The day concludes with the assignment of mentors, providing you with a current student mentor who can offer guidance as you begin your journey at Mason.

Your Path to Tech will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
